How can I make policy changes? keyboard_arrow_down

We’re happy to assist you with changes to your policy. Please complete a request changes to your policy form or contact us at 1-844-472-0967.

How do I download my policy documents? keyboard_arrow_down

Downloading your insurance policy documents is easy, and you can do so in one of two ways. Click the View Policy Documents button in the email we sent you when you bought your policy, or visit. biberk.com/policy/declaration. Then, log in using your policy number and the phone number associated with the policy, and follow the directions to download your policy documents.

Will my policy automatically renew? keyboard_arrow_down

If you're enrolled in Autopay, your policy will automatically renew at the end of your coverage period, provided your payment is successful. Visit the Autopay login page to enroll in Autopay or update your automatic payment method.

If you're not enrolled in Autopay and your policy is eligible for renewal, you'll receive a billing notice 30, 60, or 90 days in advance of the new policy's effective date. You must make the required down payment in advance of the renewal policy's effective date.

How can I see the coverages and limits included in my policy? keyboard_arrow_down

Your policy lists all your coverages and limits and premiums. The first few pages of the policy are called "declaration pages" and provide summary terms of your coverages and limits and should serve as a useful overview of your coverage.

What is a loss run? keyboard_arrow_down

A loss run is a report from an insurance company indicating how many claims the policyholder has filed in the past. Other insurers use that information as a factor in deciding whether to offer coverage and, if they do, the rate for the policy.

What are biBerk's early termination costs and cancellation fees? keyboard_arrow_down

If you cancel your coverage after a policy has been in effect for one day or more, a portion of your down payment (amount varies by state) may be non-refundable. It's used to cover our costs for issuing the policy.

Also, you will be charged an additional Cancellation Fee to cover our administrative costs. This Cancellation Fee is calculated as follows: We multiply the amount of premium you have not paid prior to cancellation by a factor no higher than 10% of the unpaid premium. For example, if a policy premium is $3,600 annually, and you cancel after two months—meaning there is $3,000 of unpaid premium—you may be required to pay a Cancellation Fee of up to $300.

When you call to cancel a policy, we'll email you a cancellation form that you must complete to cancel your coverage. Keep in mind that with certain types of insurance (workers' compensation, for example), in some states, you must show proof of new coverage in order to cancel an existing policy.
